euCAD is a European project aimed at encouraging greater use of Computed Aided Design at an application level and also in the broader context of contributing to the development of a higher level of innovation capability of European Member States.

Specifically it is undertaking and collating research on the use and impact of CAD within the areas of skills development and innovation performance, it is disseminating CAD and Innovation related information and has created a detailed ‘innovation’ vocational training system framework' for early CAD adoption by single users or SME's.

The euCAD partner countries who are involved in the study and implementation of a CAD learning framework are Estonia, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal & Romania, together with the UK. The partners from each of those countries have expertise covering CAD application, training, design and innovation. They are drawn from both the Education and Business sectors.
